This year our school will be focusing on the reinforcement of positive education to create a pleasant school environment that helps pupils be more positive, more engaged and in harmony with one another. Also, our school provides pupils with all-round learning experience to cultivate their sense of wellbeing and boost their confidence as it provides them with an edge in this extremely competitive society.
SEES is an interactive school-based online reading programme aiming to cultivate pupils' reading habit anywhere and anytime. This programme provides over 800 comprehensive leveled reading resources allowing pupils to read and listen.
As one of the most pivotal stepping-stones in early reading, phonics teaching has been systematically developed by our teachers over the year. This programme is meticulously designed to be child-friendly and is tailored for P.1 and P.2 pupils to build a solid foundation for reading.
PJ is another school-based English programme that we develop to help enhance pupils' creativity and critical thinking skills. Through various interesting English projects, pupils get to unleash their creativity and apply what they have learnt in real life scenarios.
For the high-calibre pupils, we carry out Cambridge courses for P.1, P.2, P.3 and P.4 students respectively to help them recognise their language strengths so as to further explore their potentials.
Each class showcases a marvellous English drama every December. The highlight of our English programme manifests pupils' passion in English language and literacy. It also builds up pupils' team spirits and to be respecting to one another.
